Was unser Dojo meiner Meinung nach u.a. auszeichnet ist, dass sich die Mitglieder untereinander verstehen. Man ist nicht mit allen befreundet, aber die Beziehung/der Kontakt beginnt nicht mit dem Öffnen der Dojo-Tür und endet auch nicht mit dem Abgrüßen.
Wir haben untereinander ein tolles Verhältnis und man trifft sich auch gerne außerhalb der Matte. Ein Highlight ist das jährliche Weihnachtstreffen, was dieses Jahr bekanntermaßen ausfallen musste.
Trotzdem haben wir einen Weg gefunden. Wie im beruflichen Leben beinahe schon „normal“, haben wir die Weihnachtsfeier digital umgesetzt und uns per Konferenzschaltung getroffen. Adapt, improve, overcome… wo ein Wille ist, ist auch ein Weg.
Es war schön alle wieder zu sehen und zu hören wie es allen geht… ich merke hier (und ich glaube, dass das für alle gilt), dass ich das Training und die Menschen, die das Dojo u.a. ausmachen vermisse. Ich hoffe, dass wir uns in absehbarer Zeit alle wieder in unserer Location wiederfinden, in der wir uns nach nunmehr 6 Jahren sehr wohl fühlen.

In my opinion, what distinguishes our Dojo is that the members understand each other. You are not friends with all of them, but the relationship/contact does not start with opening the Dojo door and does not end with greeting.
We have a great relationship with each other and we also like to meet outside the mat. A highlight is the annual Christmas meeting, which this year, as you know, had to be cancelled.
Nevertheless we have found a way. As is almost „normal“ in professional life, we digitally converted the Christmas party and met via conference call. Adapt, improve, overcome… where there is a will, there is a way.
It was nice to see everyone again and to hear how everybody is doing… I realize here (and I think that this is true for everyone) that I miss the training and the people who form this group. I hope that in the foreseeable future we will all find ourselves again in our location, where we – after 6 years now – feel home.
